Farnin-Rotbrock Nuptials ‘Are Solemonized All Saints’ cathedral, Spokane, Was thronged last Saturday after noon by several hundred guests bid den to witness the marriage of Misa Zena Rothrock, only daughter of Mr. and “Mrs. EM. Rothrock, to Wray Dee Farmin, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs Earl Farmin of this city. The Very Reverend Dean Harold Hennessy of All Saints’ performed the Ceremony at 4:30 o'clock, which was followed by a reception at the Rothrock residence. The decorations at the church were unusually beau tiful. Choice autumn flowers were used in profusion: zinnias, mari bolds, dahlias, gladiol and mountain ash combined to create perfect color harmony shading from pale yellow to the warmer richer tones of orange and red. Marking the aisles were tall Standards wound with mountain ash and Interspersed with dahlias, zin nias and gladios! Atop these were thin lighted candles The choir stalls and altar presented a scene of floral beauty. Two seven-branch candela bra on either side of the altar shed set lights over all. The program of wedding music, played by Mrs Grace Jones, organ ist, and Leon Peterson, violinist, In cluded “Dreams,” Wagner, and bridal chorus from “Lohengrin.” “O Perfect Love” was played during the ceremony Miss Rothrock was a strikingly beautiful bride Her wedding gown was pale yellow French crepe, rhine stone embroidered, and fashioned with a sleeveless tight bodice and full skirt with cascades of mette ribbon falling to the hem Ine Her hair was bound with bands of silver ribbon,and rhinestones held in place by a full brown yellow rose. Mrs. Charlies Kimball, the matron of honor, and Miss Molly Graham, maid of honor, wore gowns similarly fastened, but varying in color. Miss Kimball's was apricot colored georg ette with full embroidered skirt. She carried an bouquet of yellow roses and gladiol with streamers of Bauze ribbon. Milss Graham was gowned in green georgette and car ried a bouquet of yellow chrysan themum Miss Emamae Farmin and Miss Henrice Stutz, bride’s maids, were lovely in yellow georgette frocks, sleeveless models with tight bodices and full circular skirts, em broidered with heavy thread of green, blue, yellow and brown. Their bouquets were burnt orange pom pom dahlias and roses. All the bride's attendants wore bands of gold ribbon in their hair, held in Place with small rosebud pins, which with white gold bacelets, were gifts from the bride. Little Carol Smith, Jr., the ring bearer,wore a yellow silk Oliver Twist suit with purple tie. The bridal party entered the church to the strains of the Loben erin wedding march. The bride on the arm of her father, who gave her din qnearriage, was preceded by the matron’ of honor who met the bride groom and his best man at the chancel, the ushers and bride's maids taking their places as the organ softly played “O Perfect Love.” The beautiful Episcopa ring service was Tead and the impressive prayers and blessings pronounced by Dean Hen nesey,imparted a solemn’, dignity over all. For the recessional “Mende lsohn’s wedding march was played. Mr. Farmin's best man was the bride’s brother, Wallace Rothrock, and the ushers were Feldher Sum mers of Sandpoint, Charles Foye of San Francisco, Harold Henneford, Thomas Orr and Edward Schofield of Spokane. A reception for the bridal party relatives and a few close friends was held at the Rothrock home, which was given added beauty, by a profu sion of flowers taken from the gar dens which surround it Asisting Mr. and Mrs. Rothrock were Mr and Mrs Thadeaus Lane, Dr. and Mrs Stutz and Mrs. Malone. For traveling Mrs. Farmin wore a brown Moire ensemble with a small silk and velvet bat of the same tone. After an automobile trip to Cali fornia Mr and Mrs. Farmin will make their home in Sandpoint Mrs Parnin has been one of the most feted brides of the season, ever since the announcement of her enrage ment early in the spring She is a charming, vivadous young woman alby will be a welcomed addition to Sandpuitt society. She is a gradu ate of Washington State college and a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority Mr Farmin, a member of OQ pioneer staud has always lved here except for the few years spent a college be in a graduate from Oberlin, was a member of the Glee club debating society and the foot ball team . He is associated in busi ness with his father.
