Met Death in a Railroad Accident at Paul Valley, Indian Territory.A. H. Chapman received a telegram Monday announcing the death of his son, A. B. Chapman, who was a [brakeman on the Atchison, Topeka Kansas. Mr. -Chapman has received only the bare announcement of his son’s death and does not know how the sad accident oc-cured. The voung man had only been married a little over a year and was diving at Gainesville, Texas. His wife at the time of ,his death was visiting in Bar Harbor, Michigan.Mr. Chapman was well known in Vinton and had a host of friends. He was 28 years of age and had been living in Texas only about ten months.Later—The family-received a telegram yesterday stating that Mr. Chapman had been killed'by falling ing from a moving train and being dragged under the cars. Mrs. Chap-i man arrived from Bar Harbor, Mich.,! yesterday morning. The funeral will be held this afternoon.
