Daniel McGlinchey of Lowell Was Knocked Insensible. LOWELL, Sept 6—Daniel McGlinchey, rendered insensible today, it is alleged, by a blow given by Benjamin Bernstein, has recovered consciousness in St John’s hospital, and will recover. Bernstein, it is saidy we accused Mcc Glinchey of taking fruit from his wag on. McGlinchey denied the accusation, and Bernstein is alleged to have struck McGlinchey with his fist. In falling Mc Glinchey struck the curbing. He was pemeyen in the ambulance to the hos pital. Bernstein, after aimlessly driving about the city with his horse and wagon, was arrested in Sregest by Sergt Martin Connors on the description given from headquarters. Bernstein worried considerably through fear that McGlinchey might die. Supt Moffatt told him tonight that McGlinch ey would recover Bernstein and Mc Glinchey are hard-working men, and people in the vicinity say Bernstein was mistaken in accusing McGlinchey of taking the fruit.
