Terra-Culture.Professor Comstock, who has been lecturing 1 in this vicinity for some time on the above 1 subject, is convincing all who hear him that 1 there is much to be learned in the cultivation -of the earth. Wherever he has been he has met with great success, and large classes attend his disclosures. We learn that Mr. Samuel Shillito, ' of Beaver county, who heard the Professor lecture at Iron City College on the 20th, returned to his farm* and op the 22d applied the knowl* edge gained at the disclosure to portion o| ,a field of potatoes,, which on examination, bn the 1st instant, he found to yield double the quantity of potatoes that the rest of the field did.
