The Winters office of the Western Union Telegraph: Co. has been moved to the Winters Chamber of Commerce office, and Mrs. Emma Marks, Cham ber of Commerce secretary manager, will be in charge, it has been announced. _ The telegraph office formerly has been at the depot of Abilene-Southern Railroad. ‘The change in location be came effective September 1. There will be no direct tele ype wire service with the dis trict office, Mrs. Marks said. ‘All telegrams to be sent through her office will be telephoned to the office in San Angelo. In coming messages will be re ceived by her by telephone, and she will deliver them. Persons wishing to send tele grams from Winters are asked to call Mrs. Marks at the Chamber of Commerce office for information. No money orders will be handled by the Winters Western Union Office, Mrs. Marks said. Formerly, telegraph mess ages were received by teletype in the depot office, with J.C. Jarrell as representative. Tele gram traffic in Winters has been approximately 100 per month, according to reports.
