Pioneer Cattle Man Pasaea AwayOmaha—Arthur J. Abbott, 66, of Alliance, pioneer stockman of the sand hill country in Nebraska and president of the Abbott Land and Cattle company, died at a local boa* pital.Mr. Abbott came with his father to northwest Nebraska In 1S86, and helped to lay the foundation of the present company, whose holdings comprise about 100.000 acres of range and 10,000 head of cattle.He is survived by his wife, two sons, Christopher, wlijj.. is the active manager of the company, and Roy who is connected with an Alliance bank, and a daughter, Dorothy.
