(Special 'co Bicknell News) OAKTOWN, Sept. 5.—A bad acci-dent that might have been more serious in personal injuries happened between here and Busseron yesterday.A Ford truck and a new Dodge coupe wer the cars in collision. The Ford truck was driven by Opal Powell, and in the seat with her were Halsie Dittcmore and Esther Atkinson, The Dodge was a beautiful new car, made a special order. It had solid steel /Keels and was an altogether neat ob. It was the leader of a string of c cars being taken from Detroit to Kentucky and was to have been delivered to the prospective owner the first of this week. In the Dodge weve two sons of the owner of the car, one driving and the other a 3mall child.They met at a narrow point and the 1 jJDodge in trying to avoid the ditch • i skidded and plunged into the Ford I truck overturning the Ford in j the ditch at the # opposite side t j of the road. None of the girls was ser-t j iously injured, although Miss Powell ! received a gash on the uper lip. The little boy was the most ser-lt;■; iously injured, his lip being cut to the n j bone.
