It is said Gavin ' left. his car in Monticello, and ‘skip ‘ped ‘out, but he was later apprehend ed. For many years Mr. LaTourette .was secretary and treasurer of the Monticello Board of Education and had been an employe of the Postal for 30 to 35 years. He has a son who is in the army and is now somewhere in France. Mrs. LaTourette survives.
