‘Strong Probabty That It May Traverse Green River Valley. The one question in railrord circles which appears to interest the people of venteran Wyomey, is just what course th North-Western will pursue in reach ig the western part of Wyoming. Chere is every reason to believe that it will traverse the Green river valley, either going thru by Piney into the Star valley, coming further up and crossing a at the head of Horse creek, and follow ing down the Hoback, or making an outlet thru the Union Pass country, which latter route will make an inlet from the south to the Jackson Hole country and Yellowstone park. The North-western owns a right of way on the Sweetwater, where much grading way done years ago. The Wind River route is impracticable owing to the im mense engineering project necessary and the fact that were all that country set tled, it would not contain one-half the resources for a railroad that we have here now, with immense areas still to be settled. The coming of a railroad means that the holdings in these valleys will double and tremble in value immediately, and provide an outlet for the agricultural products which may be raised here. The announcement of the route de cision of the North-Western will be awaited with interest, and we feel con fident that the days of overland freight ing are now clos to an end. Immense mineral deposits are also awaiting the advent of a railroad for de velopment.
