53TSuden Death.—It is with sincere regret that we record the sudden death of Capt. James Stapletox, which melancholy event took place at Carbonear yesterday afternocn. It appears that the deceased, whilst pacing the deck of the brig Elizabeth WUliam% was observed to fall down suddenly, and before any medical aid could be procured, ho had ceased to breathe. Capt. Stapletox was an old and respected inhabitant of Qzr-bonear: and we tender our warmest sympathy to his relatives and friendsin their sad bereavement,— Ur. O. Standard.
