Officials of the Colonial Stores, Inc., today pushed plans for opening their new store on West avenue in down town Kannapolis next Tuesday at 8 a. m. Workmen will keep busy during the weekend, placing fixtures and merchandise. Top leaders of the chain will come here for the formal opening. Details of Colonial’s opening will be announced in the Sun day issue of The Daily Inde pendent.
