For the information of the public this is published in detail below.Mr. Hotchin has increased the number of pictures that will constitute his bequest from 27 to 33 and he hos expressed pleasure that so suitable a place as the Town Hall is to be made available for Northam's Art Gallery. It is hoped to have the pictures delivered in Northam on Wednesday next and it is proposed that the Art Gallery will be officially opened at the end of the month or early fn October.Following are the details of Mr. Hotehin’s gift of Original Works of Art:—No. I: “Frosty Morning. by Robert Campbell, who came to Perth from Tasmania about 1948 to take up the position of Director of the Perth Art. Gallery. a position which he filled with distinction for several years, eventually leaving Perth to become Director of the Brisbane Art Gallery and later to become head of the Adelaide Art Gallery. Robert Campbell's background in art is suchPOLICE OFFICERS TRANSFERREDSeveral members of the Police Force at Northam have recently received notification of transfer to other centres. Sgt. S. R. Hamilton is to go to Claremont. Constable J. T. Peters to Fitzroy Crossing, and Constable J. J.
