By the Associated Press Seven persons died violent deaths in Nebraska during the Labor Day weekend. Traffic ac cidents killed five of them. Both of the other two occured in the Kearney area. Monday, Charles Gumprecht, 86, of Shelton was killed when he stepped into the path of a Union Pacific mail train. Witnesses said Gumprecht was walking across the main inter section at Shelton although the gates were down. He apparent ly saw the train at the last min ute but was unable to get out of its path. Nine-year-old Alice Elizabeth Sisson was accidentally electro cuted Sunday night when she connected a defective table lamp to a basement outlet. The girl was alone in the house when the accident occured. Her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack W. Sisson, had gone to Holdrege while Alice went to a movie. The body was discovered by the girl’s four-year-old brother when the family returned home. The traffic victims: Robert Carlson, 6, Omaha fatally injured when his bicycle was in collision with a truck. Orville Kortum, 32, Fremont, crashed between a car and a truck on highway 275 between Fremont and Valley. Edgar Kilzer, 39, and his daughter, Jean ,9, of Raymond, killed in the collision of their car and a truck near Raymond Sat urday night. Robert W. Carr, 55, Atkinson, killed when his truck plunged into a canyon near Ainsworth late Saturday. (PUSAN SOUTH KOREA NORTH Big REDS GAIN ON NORTHERN FRONT—A two-pronged tank led North Korean force smashed over 121% miles south through Angang to the outskirts of Kongju (A) on the northeastern tip of the 120 mile warfront Tuesday. U.S. marines and second division infantrymen smashed ahead six miles in the bridge head area west of Yongsan (B). Immediately north of Taegu (C), the first cavalry and parts of an engineer corps pulled back about a mile, but still held Tabu. While on the extreme southern front (D) Americans added another thousand Reds to their list of casualties inflicted upon the North Koreans.
