Double Fatal Shooting Costs Lives Of Mr. And Mrs. Robert Lowrey JONESBORO, La., Sept. 5.—(Spc ial)—Enraged when his wife refused return to live with him, Robert Grey, 37, an employe of a plant at ringhill, fired two shots into her art, killing her instantly. He then ed the gun on himself causing his own instant death. The double tragedy occurred at the e of Mrs. Iris Austin in Hodge, to Sunday afternoon. Lowrey formerly resided here but e months ago removed with his amily to Springhill. Later Mrs. Low returned to Hodge with her two ildren and secured employment here. Efforts to get her to return to her husband had been futile and he came back here Sunday with the in tention of persuading her to return. After some minutes of useless per suasion, the shooting occurred. The funeral of Mrs. Lowrey will be held at Hodge Monday at 2 p.m. while arrangements for Mr. Lowrey’s funerals are incomplete. The couple leaves two children, Martha 8, and John, 3.
