Exhibit at County Fair Presents Spe cial Features—Works Created in Van Wert Brumback Library is featuring avocations In its booth in the Art Hall, at the Van Wert County Fair. Posters, book markets and articles made or collected by Van Wert resi dents depict some of the interests people have aside from their regular avocations. The management of Brumback Library announces: “Office employes, clerks and industrial work ers have, in the past, dreamed of having more leisure time to do the things they have always wanted to do. And some of these people have wanted to develop along cultural lines in order to raise their standards. But , there was not the time. “phia dream of leisure time has’ come true in these days of the NRA. With a little, help and direction, these dreams may become successful ones. The library can help and is, ready to do its part. “There are an amazing number of ways one can ‘turn for the profitable: fulfillment ‘of leisure time—music, painting, photography, woodworking, needlework; care and breeding of animals; gardening for beauty or food; collecting arrowheads or prec ious stones; becoming familiar with foreign languages; or, indulging in sports and games from archery to football. “The library’ has books on any num ber of different hobbies or pursuits to interest every taste. “The Brumback Library with its shelves of books recording the suc cessful dreams of other people belong to the people of Van Wert county and is supported by public funds. It has everything to give and nothing to sell.” —
