PAYING HIS ELECTION BETB. H. Anderson, secretary of the board oi trade of Butler, Pa., is lead ing a donkey from Portland, Me., to Portland, Ore., in payment of an election bet. He was confident that Colonel Roosevelt would be elected president. A few days ago Mr. Anderson passed through Washington with hii» donkey.
