Last week there was held in this city a meeting of the blacksmiths of Stevens county, the purpose being to form an association to regulate the prices of the blacksmith and farrier trades in the county. They organized under the name of the Stevens County Blacksmiths’ Association, and elected officers. They then adjourned until Thursday evening this week, when they met in Chewelah and completed the organization and put it in working order. Among those present at the meeting in Chewelah were M.R. Feeney and Albert Brouillet in Colville. They were in session in Chewelah on Thursday andFriday.
