Wc regret that we did not learn in time for the last is.ue of The Eagle” of the death of Mrs. N. A. Oppert.wh; died on Tuesday the 25th, ult., at the home of Mrs. J. D. Campbell, her sister. near Smyrna church. She was the joyful mother” of fourteen child ren. six of whom are yet living, and one of whom is Mr. L. A. Oppert, oi this city She was a member of the Baptist church, and always manifested that interest characteristic of the true Christian, and for years to come and to t go her deeds of faithfulness will be ; cherished as burnished gold set in true diadem, for this woman was full of good works.”She was laid to her final rest be -y neatii the shades at Smyrna.
