With the family were congregated the neighbors and friends of Mr. Fessler and the day . was spent in feasting and enpoyment. It was the lirst time in twenty years that the members of the family dined together and the happy meeting will be for all time to come a pleasant memory in the minds of those who assembled on this occasion. Mr. Fessler is one of the very earliest settlers In one of the the very earliest settlers in Mosaiem township, coming to Dubuque when the city consisted of a few cabins.
