Death of the Oldest Citizen of Om* Township.Fanny Engle, mother of Dr. A. Engle, Was horn ill'the state of PennsyP vania, January ‘21st, 1802, She moved with her husband to Perry county, O., in 1826; after remaining in that bountysix years, moved to Fairfield county. Iu 1851 they moved to Hancock county, O.; came to this state in 1872. She united with the M. E. church in 1841 and departed this life August 28, 1880, aged 87 years, 6 mouths and 8 days. The funeral was preached in the Mass-ilon church and the remains interred in the Masonic graveyard near thisplace. She was the oldest person in this township, and leaves a hoot di‘ friends.
