Rugg, of Adams, and ie Delavan Martin, of LaGrange. cc Madison Marsh, from the Com-j m mittee, reported a series of resolu-1 th tions, “which, after some discussion, j *1 were unanimously adopted,” one of which was as follows:“ Resolved, That we are decidedly and firmly opposed to the introduction of slavery into the said Territories, newly acquired, viz: California and New Mexico.
