A ,great number of marines in fchooners, men of war’s boats, and two (hips of war, kept up a conflant fiie on our myn, \vhH**tbey remained on the ifland ; but this did not prevent them’deAroying the hay. The jfchooner and boats endeavourca .toxnt off their retreat, -which brought on a very waim engagement, in which wc had one killed and one wounded.
