Mr. and Mrs. Odis Clingenpeel and Wilbur Richardson and fam ily, spent Tuesday at Lafayette. Eld. J. G. Stinebaugh returned Tuesday from a trip to Portland and Hartford City where he was looking after duisstum business. Mr. and Mrs. Oregan Crume and daughter Mary, and Mr. and Mrs. John Harter left Wednesday morning by auto for Olivet, Mich igan, where they will visit until the first of the week with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Starter. Mr. and Mrs. Noah El. Flora and children of north of town, returned home Monday evening after a visit since Friday with his brother, Clarence Flora and wife, near Dayton, Ohio, and with oth er relatives at New Carlisle and Eaton. While gone they also vis ited the Soldiers’ Home at Day ton. They found Clarence doing exceptionally well on the farm and report the crops in the Ohio state exceedingly fine. On Sat urday they were able to read the Hoosier Democrat at the home of Mr. Flora and they say that he considers it ‘“‘better than a letter from home.’’
