FOUR SCORE YEARS.Elisha Jones, the Weather Bureau Reporter, Attains this Age oil Thursday of Last Week*It has been four score years since Elisha Jones, the efficient signal service man, first saw the light of day on this mundane sphere. He celebrated his eightieth birthday last Thursday and is receiving the congratulations of his friends on having attained this good age with the measure of health that he still enjoys.Mr. Jones was born in Gibson county and has passed almost his entire life within its boundaries. He is perhaps the oldest nativ of the county now living, at least ih are are not many to contest this honor with him. He also has the honor of a long and continuous service as weather re-porter, having thus been engaged for about seventeen years. Mr. Jones has an excellent memory of events of long ago and his opinion is much sought after by those who want reliable data of the past. We join his numerous friends here and elsewhere in wishing him many more years of life and health.
