THE WHITECHAPEL MURDER.A man who was a witness in the Lipski case applied to Mr. Lushington at the Thames police-court, on Monday, for a warrant for the apprehension of a person named Grant, who burst open his door last week, in order to get at Schmuss, who was also a witness in the same case, away from the house.—Inspector D. Final informed the magistrate that the applicant, since his previous application, had'Written to Sir A. Stephenson on the subject, and had, in reply, been again referred to the magistrate at that court, bwingto Grant’s conduct applicant’s daughter had been much frightened, and was now very ill. No further annoyance had since occurred.—Mr. .Lushington said if that was so, he saw no occasion to interfere in the matter.1 _ 1 i. . J 1__
