The 53rd reunion of the Brouse cousins was held at Blue Rapids, Kan. Community Hall. The host family for this year’s event was the Gene Lott family. The event start ed with a program of the Central Branch Railroad. The prayer at noon was given by Rev. Rod Mur ray. After the lunch was served, Pe: Carlson of Fairbury, shared her fam ily history. Her mother was Mable Brouse Ken nedy. The cousins have been gathering informa tion on the family for the last couple of years. Each family is gathering infor mation to form one big Brouse history book. It is always exciting to read all the new information. In the afternoon, the cousins took a ride on the Central Branch Railroad, going over the river bridge and then into Waterville. Those that attended this year’s event were: Jerry and Jan All dredge, Gene and Malv ery Lott, Donna Seach, Beth Murray, Rod and Gerri Murray, Allen and Pat Jensen, Clyde and Margery Bobbitt, Ron and Barb Wurtz, Ethel Peters, Joann and Jason Geffert, Charlie Brown, Lee Huber, Jeff and Marsha Schell, Ron, Dustin and Jackson Huber, Bob and Roxane Huber, Betty Wonderly, Tim and Robin Schmidt, Ardyce and Pete Kara batsos, Eunice and Bob Clark, Russ Wonderly, Mary Francis Quinn Ken ney, Lyle Brouse Quinn, Peggy Kennedy Carlson, David and Amanda Lott, Steve, Sandi and Kristi Larson. The cousins will meet agent on the 3rd Sunday of August 2009.
