Army Pfc. Brian A. Horan, son of Martin and Donna Horan of Yuba City, has completed train ing at the U.S. Army Infantry School at Fort Benning in Colum bus, Ga. The training qualified him as a light-weapons infantryman and an indirect-fire crewman in a rifle or mortar squad. Instruction included weapons qualifications, patrolling, land mine warfare, field communications and com bat operations. Horan is a 1990 graduate of Yuba City High School and re ceived an associate’s degree in 1993 from Yuba College. Army Pic. William M. Willis, son of retired Air Force Master Sgt. James and Linda Willis of Yuba City, has graduated from the 72-day Ranger training course at the Infantry School at Fort Benning in Columbus, Ga. Training phases are conducted at Fort Benning, in the moun tains of northern Georgia, in the desert at Fort Bliss, Texas, and in the Florida swamps. The course is designed to develop confident and capable small-unit leaders. Willis is an infantryman at Fort Benning and a 1993 graduate of Yuba City High School.
