These men are stationed all over the world, from New Caledonia to Iceland, and from Panama to Alaska. The Rabbi will lead in the plans for the holiday which will start at sundown Friday, September 11.The outstanding day of the Jewish year will be observed September 21, this day being Yom Kipor and is the observance of the Day of Atonement.Auto Strikes White City BridgeA car driven by Raymond McEwan of De Pue, in some manner struck and broke the east railing of the White City bridge. The accident happened between 10:30 and 11 p. m. Friday. The wheel of the car passed through the bridge and it was necessary to raise the car before it could be removed and traffic resumed. The accident was investigated by George Bryant, night police officer, and Saturday by Herman Bansch.
