'OLD SETTLERS* REUNION SEPT. 11The annual “Old Settlers . Reunion*1 will bo held this year on Saturday, Sept. U, in the Community Building at Mill Pond Park according to an announcement by Jimmy Bills, Adjutant of the San Saba American Legion Post which sponsors the event,Awards are given for the oldest man and woman present, the largest family, the one traveling tho longest distance to attend and tho oldest couple. '. There will be a noon meal after which a program will be presented. There were over 100 iii attendance last year. An “Old Settler” is one who is born In San Saba County and is over 50 years of age or who has lived in San SabaCounty more than Go years,
