Thornton Public library recently received a framed rubbing of Shakespeare’s tombstone donated by Mr. and Mrs. Brian Clare and Roger Maltrotto of Maltrotto Johnson Builders. Mrs. Ruth Jans-ma, Thornton librarian, left, accepts the gift from Roger Maltrotto and Brian Clare. The rubbing was made by Mr. and Mrs. Clare when they visited Holy Trinity church at Stratford-on-Avon. Maltrotto donated the frame.
