Authorities investigated three one-car accidents in the county last week, and the driver of one was cited by the Highway Patrol. They were: Wednesday evening a Volks wagen driven by a California driver was totaled out on an abandoned road near Lake Thunderhead, James Dan Boland totaled out his 1970 Chevy 0 Super Sport near his home. Monty D. Gilworth went to sleep and wrecked his 1968 GTO around 2:30 a.m. August 30, 2 1/2 miles east of Union ville on U.S. 136. Damage estimated at $400.
