W. Cole and H, M. Bennett, probably will begin Tuesday on the building site, the southwest corner of Fifth street and Moffet avenue. Representative* of the Manhattan Construction Company of Muskogee, Tulsa and Kansas City conferred last week with the owners and announced everything in readiness for the start of construction.A six-story, fire-proof structure of English design, reflecting the,. Georgian influence, is planned. It | V will be built on a lot facing 200 I1 feet on Moffet avenue and 125 feotIon Fifth street, and will be set back from the street on both sides, providing apace for a park effect and landscaping.The Fifth street front is to have colonnade of Joplin marble, providing the keynote of the exterior architectural scheme. A large arch will mark the entrance proper, which will lead into a marble foyer with public lounge adjoining.The building will house forty-eight apartment units, ranging from bachelor quarters to commodious suites. All rooms are planned extra large, with a special window grouping providing maximum lighting efficiency. Soundproof walls and dayiighted stairways are other construction features.Contracts call for completion of the structure by March 1, 1929.IIIIII
