Shower for Bride A miscellaneous shower was given by Miss Carla Bohn, 1553 Holmes avenue, Tuesday evening, in honor of Miss Hannah Christianson, who is to be the bride of Christ Jensen on Sept. 4. Those present were the Misses Emma Holm, Myrtle Justesen, Anna Bertelsen, Carrie Petersen, Elsie Fugisang, Mary Petersen, Ethel Hanson, Kathrine Fugisang Anna Christianson, Millie Justesen, Lydia Christianson, Helga Bohn, Elizabeth Boesen, Thea Petersen, Olga Petersen, Laura Petersen, Lillie Petersen and Edith Christianson. Ladies’ Day At Moose Hall Racine lodge, No. 437, Loyal Order of Moose, has inaugurated a Ladies’ day to be held once a month at the club rooms and hall, corner of Fourth and Main streets. This is for the wife, mother, or sisters of any Moose mem ber. The rooms have been given over to the ladies’ auxiliary for the after noon, while the evening is to be for both the men and ladies. The first ladies’ day will be Wednesday, Sept. §. Cards will be played in the afternoon, beginning promptly at 2:30, prizes to be awarded. An orchestra has been secured for the evening's entertain ment and will furnish music for those who wish to dance.
