(Ireeiifield avenue, was struck I\ lightning at SJ:ta o'clock and totally cU stroy-d ! ed by fire. Very little of the content* j were saved. Two horses were in thebarn at the time, one of which wasrescued. The other belonging to Mr.!Sitnoa Volz was found dead in the j jstall, evidently killed when the barn ju.was hit—he also lost his buggy* and j :v,outfit.
