Dr. S. D. Tonge Killed.News reached the city ycster* day of the death of Dr. S. D. Tonge, which occurred this week at Locomia, Ark. The particulars are not known, but it seems that Dr. Tonge was driving in his buggy and was thrown from it, receiving injuries that causcd his death. His remains wete carried to Memphis, Tenn., where they were interred yesrcrday.This sad intelligence wilt cause sorrow to a number in tiainbridge for the deceased had many friends here. He was the brother of Mr. W. G. D. Tonge and Mrs. Helen Rainey, of this city, and the father of Miss Claude Tonge, wbo also has many friends here.
