Bail Bttd Meeting in Schley. fiLLAViLL*. August 28, 137LAt a meeting of the citizens of Schley oounty held this day. Judge S. Montgomery was called to the Chair, and 0. F. Crisp, Esq., requested to act as Secretary-By request of the Chairman the Secretary explained the object of the meeting to he the consideration and adoption of some plan by which we could raise money to build the Kewnan k Americua Rail Road, and stated that CuL A. S. Cutta, the Attorney of the Corporators of said Road was present, and moved that he giro the meeting his views on the subject, which motion was adopted. Whereupon CoL Cutis addressed the meeting in a very interesting and able manner, at the concloaion of which the Chairman announced that the books were open for subscription. A considerable amount was subscribed.On motion of Dr. W. J. Sears, the Chair appointed a Committee of three from the county at large, and ouo from each Hilitia District to solicit subscriptions to the stock of the N. k A. R.
