Janet AliceMathieu WarnerBIDDEFORD - JanetAlice Mathieu Warner, 96, of Biddeford, passed away on Aug. 30, 2012 at the Gosnell Hospice Center in Scarborough.She was born on Dec. 10, 1915 in Gonic, N.H.,a daughter of Henry and Deneige Demers Pelletier, andwas educatedin Biddeford schools.Janet was employed with the Pepperell Mfg. Co. at a young age and later worked in area shoe shops.Janet married her First husband, Adrien A. Mathieu, on Feb. 6, 1937 in St. Andres Church in Biddeford. He died on July 29, 1969. She married her second husband, Raymond J. Warner, on June 30, 1973 in St. Andres Church. He died on Jan. 19, 1998.She enjoyed quilling, knitting, crocheting and making special pillow tops for her grandchildren.She was a member of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in Saco, past president of the Dames of Rochambeau and the BiddefordSenior Citizens.She was preceded in death by: A grandmothy Mathieu, of Biddciord in 1991.Surviving are: Two sons, Eddie Mathieu and his wife Sonya of Biddeford and Paul A. Mathieu and his wile Myra of Las Vegas, Nev.; two daughters, Lucille (Mathieu) Moreau and her husband Ernest of Arundel and Anita Mathieu of Las Vegas, Nev.; 13 grandchildren;21 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday,Sept. 4, 2012 at St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
