Football stadium nearly ready• •*Football is in the air even though summer heat lingers. The new Le Mars Community High School football stadium is nearly ready. It was purchased from Westmar College last winter.The stadium has a new coat of red.and black Bulldog paint. Steps have been replaced with rarrsps and all new aluminum seatina is in place. Newaluminum bleachers (right) and the former south side bleachers are joinedto the stadium by ramps and handrails! All seating will be on the north side.Also new are a concession stan and rest room building behind thestadjum, plus a fence to keep spedlfors off the playing field. Under thestadium are Westmar and visitors*; dressing rooms, with old restroom turned into storage.
