Dr Edgar BrighamFuneral services for Dr. Edgar Brigham of Rusk are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sept. 2 in Evans and Miller Execter Funeral Home in Exeter, California. He was bom Aug. 19, 1892 in Wisconsin.Dr. Brigham died in Comfort, Texas following a short illness. He had lived in Rusk since his retirement in 1961 when he moved here and built Sunny Acres Nursing Home. He practiced in the nursing home until 1975. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Rusk.He graduated from medical school in 1917 and practiced medicine in Di-nuba. California for 40 years. He and his wife Della married in 1919. She preceded him in death in 1971.Survivors include twin sons. Dr Floyd Brigham of Comfort and Dr. Kenneth Brigham of Los Angeles, California; six grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a sister-in-law Mrs Mable Baker of Rusk.His son Dr Floyd Brig ham practiced in Rusk for 15 years. He built the Rusk Professional Building.
