Hayres saidThen I could see it was far too bright for a planet, and was not travelling fast enough to be a meteor. It was the size of a star to the eye and was some miles above the earth. It firs*, appeared in the south, and after travelling through the sky. disappeared north-northeast. It had a dark centre. It was shining brilliantly There was no haze. Flying on the east side of it were two objects which could best be described as fireballs They were swinging ahead of it. then dropping back behind it backwards and forwards, like the pendulums of a clock.
