The Rev. Charles L. Zorbaugh, 76, prominent religious author and writer passed away August 18 in Cleveland, Ohio, where he and his wife have made their home for the past forty years. Rev. Zorbaugh is the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Zorbaugh, former lo cal residents, and was an out standing orator and honor student at Parsons college where he was graduated with the class of ā€˜87. His wife, the former Harriet Har vey of Washington, Iowa survives. She was graduated from Parsons a year later in ā€˜88. Two sons and a daughter also survive. Rev. Zorbaugh who had traveled abroad and throughout this country was pastor of a large Presbyterian church in Cleveland for many years. He retired in 1937 after 13 years as executive secretary of the Presbyterian synod of Ohio. Mrs. Harvey Easton of 105 South ā€˜C’ street is a cousin. Miss Grace Zorbaugh, sister of Rev. Zorbaugh, ex '96 Parsons col lege, was dean at Parsons college for two years before leaving for Columbus, Ohio, as assistant dean at the University of Ohio.
