Ing. K. 8S. Cerdan, civil engineer of Nuevo , Laredo, was chosen deputy district governor of Mex ico and Danacian Echavarria treasurer of the Mexican district of the International Lions at the joint meeting of Nuevo Laredo and Laredo Lions held at the Club Social Sronteriza in’ Nuevo Laredo Wednesday evening. Twenty Laredo Lions and their wives attended the supper given In Nuevo Laredo, the occasion be ing’ “Ladies' Night. Numerous short tails In both English and Spanish were made, and the meet ing as a whole was one of those harmonious and pleasant affairs that tend to further cement the friendly relations existing between Mexican and American — dusiness men on the border.
