INTER-SCHOOL FOOTBALL.i . i ■■TO-DAY'S CUP FINAL. .The final of thift year's inter-school football fixtures will bo played on Slade Park ground to-day, and a very interesting nnd exciting match is expected, for tho holdorn of the Kyawonno Cup for the noxt year will be determined by the result i»t' the , match. Tho compoting s.tliooi's will be lap Christian Brothers' College and tlie High School. In t'ho ovcnt of tho latter winning they will become tho- holders, of the cup, but should the match rosult in a draw or n win for this'Broth era'then the Brothers, who are the present holders, will retain possession of the cup for another twelve mouths. In the first round the Brothers woro successful in winning, hut in the present round the High School have the better record, ns they defeated Scots [ in last week's fixture by 2(1 points to . 6, whilo Brothers, tho provions week,■'were only able to score n draw. Both t teams aro determined to win in today's match, and a keen, exciting game of a high standard of fuolbali ehould bo tho result. Mr. H. V. Mitchell will have charge of tho vdhiatle. A silver coin admission will bo charged in aid nf the now grandstand.
