ALEMThe Whltacre family reunion will be held Saturday In grnnge hall near this city.More than 4000 people attended the reception ln«t Saturday night at the new Mullins Co. plant. Four of the oldest employes of the company wore present and enjoyed the festivities of the evening. They are Pan who went to work In 1873. K. J. Thompson In 1874. and Sain West nnd Murphy. Louis Brereton In 1875.Geo. Lewis, Jr.. fell from a bicycle Sunday nnd broke his left arm just above the elbow.Quite a number from here attended the yearly Friends' meeting in Da-maacuM last Sunday. The crowd was estimated at 3000. or considerably smaller than last year.Mr. and Mrs. .Morris Wefgle got Into a family row tho other day and both were arrested.
