Iipfidjelity, rationalism and materialism. * . * \rife all over this dark land, and these are not the least of the obstacles to be faced by the missionary.Those great bulwarks of Satan Buddhism and Shintoism, are beingbroken down by Christian influences and education, but new barriers are being raised by the infidel literature of the higher critics and philosophers. But there is nothing too hard for our God, and Jesus is being exalted and He is drawing souls to the fountainof cleansing.Without a full Gospel, the work already done in Japan will die ; and so God is beginr ng to thrust forthmore holiness missionaries,that the *work may be conserved. The holiness work is only a few years old, and the few holiness workers now on the field are pioneers in this work ; and it rests upon the holiness people of the homelands to give these weak lambs the blessed news of a full salvation, and ft them out of a halfhearted service to an abounding love, and give them a new lease of life.Beloved, get hold of God for more labourers for Japan, and give Him no rest until He thrusts forth 100 more Holy Ghost filled men and women to buy up the opportunities which are multiplying so rapidly on all sides of us 1To every Tongues of Fire reader%who will send us a list of ten or more names and addresses of earnest Christians believed to be interested in the foreign field, we will mail a nice Japanese calendar and sample copies of Electric Messages from Japan.
