Sheriff Ferguson was called up on to testify at the inquest Tueeda night Be exhibited the blood stained shirt that he found on Boucher at tne time of hia arrest aud alao gave other evidence that was helpful to the jurors. At the request of the Sheriff reporters and othera were excluded from the room during the time he wason the stand.No other witneaaes were examined and after two hours deliberation a ver diet was decided upon at l oclock inthe evening.The trial of Boucher will now be awaited with interest. The UaldentlSed Murtlernl Mandecided on the following verdict in Justice St Clara office Tuesdavnight “The body when found bore marxs of violence in that it appeared that the deceased had been atrnck a heavy blow with some blunt instrument or club aeros- the r ght cheek bone, cutting the ffeah and breaking the nose over. Tuere were also other marks of violence upon face of said deceased person and so the jurors, upon their oaths do say, that c.eath must have occurred before the body of said da-ceased entered the water, and we do further believe said deceased came to his death by un.awful means and that we have reasonable grounds to believe and do believe that one George Boucher is guilty of striking the blow that caused the death of the said deceased. either as principal or accessory, and we do recommend that the saidP1ino|clt;IDB.erNarcce*
