GibsonFORT DAVIS - Howard Cox i Gibson of Davis Mountains : Resort, 71 died Oct. 29, 1991 al } his home.He was bom Oct. 12, 1920, in Hart, the son of Junie Etta and ' Guy Sherdin Gibson. He was self-employed for many years 1 with a family-onwed store and trailer park in Study Butte. He . had lived in Fort Davis about 19 - years. He married Patty Carr in Alpine in 1941.A memorial service is planned at 10:30 this morning at the Davis Mountains Community Church with Rev. Red Paschal of Van Horn officiating. Memorial Funeral Home is handling arrangements.Survivors include his wife Patty Carr Gibson of Davrs Mountains Resort; one son, Billy Neal Gibson of Shawnee, Okla.; four grandchildren, Linn Gibson with the U.S. Army in Korea, Billy Gibson Jr. with the U.S. Air Force in Saudi Arabia, Modelle Gibson and Rachel Gibson Anthony, both of Odessa; one great grandson, Clay Tom Gibson of Fort Davis; and several nieces and nephews.
