Jovita Holguin Villa, 58, resident of 1300 S. Ruby St., died at Providence Memorial Hospital in El Paso Thursday afternoon. Born June 5, 1919, in Deming, she had been a lifetime resident. Mrs. Villa was a member of the Spanish Assembly of God Church. Prayer service was at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29 at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel. The Funeral will be at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 31 at the First Assembly of God Church. Her two sons will officiate, the Rev. Leo Villa and the Rev. David Villa. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of the Wheeler Mortuary. Survivors are her husband, Leo Villa of Deming; two sons: Rev. Leo Villa, Hereford, Tex., and Rev. David Villa, Deming; three daughters: Polly Esparza, Hermelinda Barreras, and Yolanda Sangren all of Deming; two brothers: Judge Manuel Holguin and Abelardo Holguin, both of Deming; one sister, Amelia Arena, Alamogordo, and twelve grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Tom Esparza, Manuel Barrera, Norman Poor, Bud Causey, Maggie Estrada and Mel Schaffer. Glenwood, Ind. and Wilma Shane, In dianapolis, Ind.; and three brothers, Merrill Workman, Rushville, Ind William Workman, Glenwood, Ind Harry Workman, Rushville, Ind.; and four grandchildren.
