Shirley has performed with numerous symphonies and with Duke Ellington.CHICAGO:The 22nd Century Productions has announced that the Tim Hardin concert scheduled for tonight has been canceled, and that no replacement has been found or rescheduling announced.The Kinetic Playground hasquite a weekend planned. Starting tonight they have TheKings, the Who. and The Liverpool Scene. Tomorrow will be The Kinks, The Liverpool Scene, and the Corky Seagle Blues Band with drummer Sam Lay. Admission for both nights is the usual $5.The Chicago Symphony Orchestra offers frequent concerts at Orchestra Hall. Tonight and tomorrow night the Symphony under the direction of Eliahu Inbal, with pianist Vladimir Ashkenazy will perform three pieces: Mozart's Symphony No. 25; concerto for piano No. 20; and the Symphony No. 5 by Sibelius.Nov. 6, 7, and 8 the Symphony presents conductor Erich Leinsdorf and pianist Bruno Leonardo Gelber. At these performances will be presented Weber’s Der Freischuetz Overture; Concerto No. 5 for piano by Beethoven, and Prokofieff s Romeo and Juliet.
