The banquet of the 50 south side congregations of the new de nomination, the United Church of Christ, will be held on Thurs day, Oct. 31 at 6:30 in the two spacious halls of the Faith United Church of Christ, 9211 Justine, a of the Evangel ical Community church will leave our church at 6 wee The first great Festival of Faith commemorating the Protestant Reformation under the auspices of the southside United Churches of Christ will be held at Faith United Church, 9211 Justine, on Sunday, Nov. 3 at 4 p.m. The massed chorus of our choirs will rehearse at 2:30 at the Faith church. All members and friends are urged to attend. The out standing preacher, Dr. Oliver Powel, pastor of the Oak Park Congregational church, is the guest speaker. World Community Day under the auspices of the Blue Island Council of Churchwomen will be held on Friday, Nov. 1, at St. Paul Gregory and New, at 1:30. The annual Thank-Offering Service of the Women’s Guild will be held on Sunday Nov. 3, at both the 9:30 and 11 o'clock ser vices. The women of the parish present their Thank-Offering box es for dedication to the purposes of the Kingdom of God in this service which is conducted b leaders of the Women's Guild. The Donald Sickbert, guest min ister will preach, Senior High Youth Fellowship hay-ride party on Saturday, Nov. 9.
